Revenue stamps were produced from about 1850, many of the designs are elaborate and colourful, and make a good unusual collection.
There are several thousand recorded types of GB stamps, either adhesive or embossed types. We offer initially good value collections from Queen Victoria onwards (most are QV-KGV issues) in typical used condition.
Collections can include Common Law Courts, Civil Service, Contract Notes, Land Registry, Receipts, Chancery Court, National Insurance, Escutcheon stamps, Embossed stamp duty, General duty, Foreign Bill, Indicature Fees, Consular Service, Land Registry, Ireland, Customs Chancery Fee Fund, Excise Revenue, Prescription Charge, etc.
Larger Lots should include all or most of the types on offer
